Welcome to Bell's

Bell, Sons & Co. (Druggists) Ltd. was established in 1847, and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Hale Group PLC. Manufacturing is conducted at our purpose-built, MHRA licensed factory in Southport, where we manufacture non-sterile liquids, ointments and powder products. Bell's products are distributed throughout the UK and also exported to Europe, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East and the Far East. We also contract manufacture and produce private-label products for a number of major customers.

During the last 15 years we have achieved considerable growth and have made substantial investments at our factory in order to increase capacity and improve compliance. Notably, we have recently built a new finished goods warehouse, extended the factory to provide a new quarantine storage area and additional works offices. Also we have just completed the commissioning of a replacement oral liquids manufacturing plant, which more than doubles our capacity for the manufacture of such products.
